Eligibility

  • To be eligible for the Malta Government Endeavour Scholarship, applicants must:
  • 1. Be Maltese citizens residing in Malta for at least 5 years, OR
  • 2. EU/EEA nationals or family members with permanent residence in Malta, OR
  • 3. Third-country nationals with long-term residence status in Malta
  • 4. Apply for a postgraduate programme at MQF Level 7
  • Meet the admission requirements of the selected institution
  • 5. Be ready to begin studies between April 27, 2026 and April 26, 2027
  • Applicants already holding a Level 8 Doctoral Degree or equivalent qualification are not eligible.
  • Applicants with an existing Master’s degree may apply for another Master’s programme but cannot apply for a lower postgraduate qualification.
