Overview
The Wang Gungwu Visiting Fellows Programme 2027 is a fully funded fellowship hosted by the ISEAS โ Yusof Ishak Institute in Singapore. The programme supports postdoctoral researchers and mid-career policy professionals conducting policy-relevant research on Southeast Asia and global affairs.
The fellowship aims to strengthen research on international politics, regional economics, security studies, and digital technology, with a strong focus on how global power dynamics impact Southeast Asia.
Selected fellows will be based at ISEAS in Singapore for a duration of 2 to 6 months, where they will conduct independent research, engage with regional scholars, and contribute to policy publications.
Eligibility

- Be postdoctoral researchers or mid-career policy professionals
- Have strong research or professional experience in relevant fields

- Be able to conduct policy-relevant research
- PhD holders are preferred, but experienced professionals without PhD may also apply
